Al Latimer

Senior vice president of External Affairs and Investor Relations, Enterprise Florida

Al Latimer serves as senior vice president of External Affairs and Investor Relations for Enterprise Florida - the public-private partnership responsible for leading Florida's statewide economic development efforts.

Al, who has more than 20 years of government relations and economic development experience, oversees six strategic units that help Enterprise Florida achieve its corporate objectives in communications; board management; government relations; military and defense; partner relations and investor relations.

Prior to joining Enterprise Florida in 1998, Al served as vice president of government relations for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. His background also includes a five-year stint as the executive director of the Jacksonville Sports Authority.

Al, a Florida native, holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Walsh College in Troy, Mich.
