Florida Biodatabase

Florida BioDatabase ® is an exciting resource with the latest information on Florida's bioscience industry plus unique profiles of biotechnology and biomedical device companies. Companies (see map) are identified by regions defined by Enterprise Florida. Florida BioDatabase is updated several times a year drawing from a database built on publicly available information. The University of Florida's Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator publishes this free, web-based resource in support of the biotech industry statewide

Florida ExpertNet is a statewide portal of applied research expertise in Florida's universities. Florida ExpertNet is designed to provide quick and easy access to university-based resources and expertise to assist in practical solutions for business, industry, and government.

NIH RePORTER

NIH RePORTER The information found in RePORTER is drawn from several extant databases–eRA databases, Medline, PubMed Central, the NIH Intramural Database, and iEdison–using newly-formed linkages among these disparate data sources. The comprehensiveness of these databases varies, as does the quality of the linkages formed among them. We expect that the quality of RePORTER data will improve over time as a result of changes in both data collection (e.g., implementation of the NIH Public Access policy) and the increased ability to identify missing information that comes from making these data accessible to more people.

PubMed

PubMed comprises approximately 20 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and preclinical sciences. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant Web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources.
PubMed is a free resource that is developed and maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

U.S. SBA TECHNet

TECH-Net is an electronic gateway of technology information and resources for and about small high tech businesses. It is a search engine for researchers, scientists, state, federal and local government officials, a marketing tool for small firms and a potential "link" to investment opportunities for investors and other sources of capital.
