FL CURED Recommendations

As per statute, our organization provides suggestions to the Legislature in the FL CURED Annual Report.

In 2009, FL CURED made recommendations including:

• Comprehensive Medical Research Networks - Enhancing translational research, clinical trials and evidence-based medicine
• Open Innovation in Biomedical Research - Enhancing collaborations and speeding the search for new cures
• Chronic Diseases and Health Disparities - Chronic diseases are the most serious and costly, but they are also the most preventable
• Biomedical Research Cooperation - Encouraging cooperation among Florida's several biomedical research organizations
