2006 FL CURED SUMMIT

Theme:    "FLORIDA CURED, Meeting of the Minds -- Research for New Insights and Innovative Cures"

 

Purpose:    If you want to influence how the state of Florida can lead the charge to find cures, then join your colleagues at the beautiful PGA National Resort & Spa to share information, ideas, and inspiration for finding cures. Attend the FL CURED Summit for a "Meeting of the Minds," and help bring the cures of tomorrow to people today.

 

Participants:    Research scientists, biomedical technology experts, business incubators, pharmaceutical manufacturers, research sponsors, practitioners and other interested parties.

 

Background: The Florida Legislature created the Florida Center for Universal Research to Eradicate Disease (FL CURED) to engage in activities and promote actions that will expedite the discovery, translation, and dissemination of cures for the most deadly and widespread diseases.

You can help draw the map that will lead Florida to the discovery and application of cures. This summit was designed by your peers to provide you with and exceptional opportunity to participate in efforts to build a road map to cures. Space is limited. The 2006 FL CURED Summit coincides with the Florida Public Health Association (FPHA) Annual Conference that kicks off at the PGA National Resort & Spa with an evening reception on August 1, 2006. Come for the FL CURED Summit and stay to share networking opportunities with FPHA conference goers.
